Yeah! Success stories!

Evidently, it's good to be named gray something.

We have plenty of bald eagles around here. They like to nest on top of telephone poles near the highway where it crosses rivers. We have a few grizzlies too.

Yay for upbeat lists! Yay for the animals!

I'll never forget the first time I saw a bald eagle – it was close to my house in Florida, and I couldn't believe my eyes. Beautiful!

What beautiful photographs Paige. And it's such good news to know that these beautiful animals are off the endangered list. Happy Thursday to you.

Thirteen; it's a start, a step in the right direction. SO many more still endangered but at east we can celebrate these. Thanks for this optimistic TT.

Funny thing, I was driving over to pick up my husband from work. (We live out in the country.) I notice a very large hawk circling over head. Then it dawned on me its tail was white like a bald eagle's and it was a big, big bird.

Happy TT.

Beautiful photos, Paige. Your Thursday 13 is very encouraging. I was glad to see about the falcon, eagle, wolf and kangas. Not so much the Grizzle Bear.
I remember a movie about a grizzly bear attacking people when i was younger. It terrified me. Maybe it was Grizzly Adams. I don know. I oculd see how flying squirrels could become a nuisance. Sort of like prairie dogs. Cute but too many is actually destructive. Julie
