ReplyOh man, we just made applesauce with King apples which are huge around here.

ReplyI love apples. For some strange reason I have a craving for apple pie. You and Dana are going to inspire me to bake today.
ReplyThis is the time of year I miss driving over to West Virginia and picking our apples in the orchard. Romes are tasty! I guess I’m gonna have to break down and bake the apple pie in the freezer from Julian, CA. I’ll have to look into if they have any pick your own orchards over there… another way to torture the kids. MU-hahaha!
Thanks for the memories, Paige!

ReplyI’m familiar with all of these except #3. In my house, the Galas are everyone’s favorite: not too tart, not too sweet. Crunch!
