She was about to go check to see if their uniforms were dry when she caught Austin regarding her with those soulful dark eyes of his.
“What?” she asked with a grin.
He smiled back. “I was just thinking again that the dinner you made was some of the best food I've eaten in a long time.”
“But there is one thing that would make it even more perfect,” he added.
His grin broadened. “Dessert.”
Beside him, Kyle nodded in agreement.
Kayleigh laughed. Why hadn’t she thought of that? “I can certainly whip something up. My chocolate cake is always a hit, but it’d take a while to make.”
Maybe mentioning dessert was their subtle way of telling her they weren't ready to go yet, which was fine with her.
“Chocolate cake wasn't the kind of dessert I had in mind,” Austin said.
Okay. Now she was confused. “What kind of dessert were you thinking about?”
Austin stepped closer. Damn, he smelled good.
“This kind of dessert,” he said, tipping up her chin and kissing her on the mouth.
The kiss surprised her to say the least, but she was quick to recover, sliding her hands up the front of his muscular chest and parting her lips. Austin took that as an invitation to bury his fingers in her long hair and play a slow, sensuous game of tongue twister that left her weak in the knees. She wasn’t sure, but she thought she might have swayed a little. Regardless, his other hand reached around to cup her ass and pull her tightly against him. His cock strained against the front of his swim trunks, pressing against her tummy.
Giving her ass another squeeze, he lifted his head to gaze down at her, his dark eyes smoldering. It was all she could do not to melt into a puddle of goo at his feet.
Arms still around her, he glanced at Kyle. “You want some dessert, too?”
Kayleigh did a double take. She’d completely forgotten about Kyle. But now she realized the other PJ had been standing a mere few feet away while his friend kissed her. But instead of staking his claim on her with that kiss, Austin had asked Kyle if he wanted to kiss her, too.
It wasn’t something she’d expected. But it was definitely something that turned her on.
Kayleigh glanced over her shoulder at Kyle. He was looking at her expectantly, blue eyes glinting.
“Yeah, I think I would like some dessert,” he said. “But only if Kayleigh doesn’t mind us sharing.”
She opened her mouth to answer, but nothing would come out.
“Kayleigh?” Austin prompted.
She turned to back around to see him regarding her curiously, brow lifted in question. Something told her the two PJ’s were talking about more than kissing.
Her heart was beating so wildly she thought it might jump out of her chest. She smiled, hoping it would hide how close to doing a happy dance she actually was. “I was always taught that sharing is the polite thing to do.”
Austin returned her smile with a sexy grin of his own, his gaze flicking to Kyle. “I think that’s a yes.”
It was most definitely a yes.
